We look forward to nurturing and teaching your little one(s) at The Reef Playschool. Conveniently situated on Piesang Valley Road in the beautiful family town of Plettenberg Bay, our daily routine varies but always includes fun, educational and interactive activities.

What We are about

We are focused on days filled with laughter and learning, where our kids get stimulated through various activities to help them grow constructively, while encouraging imaginative tactile and free play.

Daily Activities

Our children are stimulated daily with a variety of activities, including painting, drawing, circle-time activities, construction, tactile play, and free play. We have beautiful fantasy areas, where children are encouraged to use their imaginations for role play.

Extra-Mural Activities

We offer a platform for outside companies to run their programs at our school, which are always fun and beneficial to your child. Some of these include playball, rugby skills, and Little Labcoats.

Special Events

We strive to have fun family days incorporated into our programme, to ensure our families are involved, and part of our school. We enjoy athletics evenings, valentines breakfasts, granny teas, family braai’s and our infamous year end concert.

Outings and Visitors

We believe that it is important for our children to learn in different ways. We encourage this by organising special visitors to our school, and by taking our older children on educational outings.

Our Community

The Reef Playschool takes great pride in participating in community activities. In the past we have made donations to Saving the Survivors, Slipper Day, Santa’s Shoebox, and helping our Firemen etc.

Play is a central and necessary part of a child’s development and we utilise play to enhance our children’s social, intellectual, emotional, physical and creative growth. Our teaching staff do their utmost to ensure each child is receiving the stimulation and attention they need based on who they are.
